On March 27th, 2023 Audrey Hale entered The Covenant School in Nashville, Tennessee. She immediately opened fire on teachers and students killing 6. Nashville Metro police responded and killed Hale less than 15 minutes into her rampage. The shooting rocked the community and the nation. What follows is a community mourning and calls to action.

Immediately after the shooting the entrance to the Covenant School became the place people would come pay their respects to the victims.
